01 · Basic Information

What are wet wipes?

A product combining nonwoven material, liquid formulation and packaging.

Wet wipes are generally made by applying a suitable liquid formulation to nonwoven material, folding or rolling it into a specified format, cutting it and sealing it in protective packaging.

A production line connects material feeding, folding, cutting, liquid dosing, transfer and packaging equipment according to the product specification.

Equipment depends on product conditions

  • Sheet count — single piece, portable pack or 20–100 count
  • Fold type — selected according to material size and dispensing method
  • Package format — individual pack, pouch, cap pack or bulk pack
  • Capacity — target speed and number of production lanes
